Keith Mulford is the author of the award-winning Oak Cliff Mystery Series.

He won first place in the Mystery Writers of America—Midwest Hugh Holton Award in 2021 and received second place in the 2018 Holton contest. He was a finalist for the 2022 Claymore Award for Best Mystery. He is an active member and moderator of the Barrington Writers Workshop.

Prior to his writing career, he worked in high-tech new product development, research lab strategy, and cybersecurity. He holds eight U.S. patents and has published in several industry and technical publications. Living in a Chicago suburb, he spends his spare time woodworking, creating everything from fine furniture to complex three-dimensional wooden puzzles.
