Keith Mulford is the author of the award-winning Oak Cliff Mystery Series. Prior to his writing career, he worked in high-tech corporate research lab strategy, new product development, and cybersecurity. He holds eight U.S. patents and has published in several industry and technical publications. Living in a Chicago suburb, he spends his spare time woodworking, creating everything from fine furniture to complex three-dimensional wooden puzzles.

Keith won the Mystery Writers of America—Midwest Hugh Holton Award in 2021 and received second place in the 2018 Holton contest. He was also a finalist for the 2022 Claymore Award for Best Mystery. He is an active member and moderator of the Barrington Writers Workshop.
